Established in 2017 by husband and wife duo Rob and Frankie, Hutch Houseplants began life as an Exeter-based shop specialising in houseplants and with one aim, to show that anybody, anywhere, can be a plant parent.

Over the years Hutch developed a reputation for being the ‘go to’ choice for all things houseplant related. What began life as a ‘pop-up’ quickly grew to offer online houseplant sales to customers across the UK, a packed programme of workshops and talks, plant hire for events, 3 Curator’s Choice award winning RHS garden designs and of course a busy commercial planting enterprise.

In 2026, Hutch Horticulture was created to more effectively manage a busy portfolio of commercial planting clients.

Our one aim remains the same; bringing our passion for plants to transform your space.

Alongside the day job, Rob has a regular weekly feature on Toby Buckland’s BBC Radio Devon show, providing advice and guidance on all things houseplant related.
